Cindy Manning, CPA

Founding Partner

Cindy Manning, experienced CPA and business owner herself, has a naturally selfless approach to the interactions she has with other owners who call her for advice.

"Owners sometimes see their business as too ‘small’ for a CPA to get involved. I enjoy talking with other entrepreneurs, so I take the time to listen to what they need and help them decide what is best,” says Cindy. “We may have services that are just right for them – and if we don’t, I often make alternative suggestions, because ultimately, I’m here to help. I want owners to get more out of their businesses and their lives, and I’ll help them do that any way I can.”

The success of Manning & Associates, P.C. since its founding in 1987 speaks to Cindy’s level of dedication to her clients. She provides the full scope of services any business owner may require, while paying close attention to her passion - commercial real estate. Under Cindy’s leadership, the firm has also developed specialized services for the healthcare industry.

Cindy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and was certified by the State Board of Public Accountancy in August 1984. She also holds the Series 7 Broker License and Group 1 Insurance License, which enables her to provide investment strategies, employee benefits, annuities, insurance, retirement and estate planning services.

Chuck Miller, CPA

Director of Tax Services

Charles (Chuck) Miller understands that for most people, dealing with complicated tax issues is very unappealing. But he enjoys it thoroughly. Because to Chuck, these are not just tax issues - they are people issues.

"My clients are much more than tax returns,” says Chuck. “There’s a person connected to everything I do. Their unique circumstances must be a part of the services I provide, or they won’t be as effective as they could be. And that’s what I enjoy the most – connecting the numbers to the situation and giving the client the best result possible.”

This client-first approach, combined with Chuck’s 30 years of experience in providing tax services to individuals and businesses, has resulted in a very loyal and ever expanding client base at Manning & Associates, P.C. He works with small business owners in a variety of industries, from professional services to manufacturing. In addition to any tax-related services clients may need, Chuck also provides retirement planning, financial planning, and IRS representation, as necessary. He strives to abide by a very simple principle in his work: to give clients the kind of service he would want.

Chuck holds a Masters degree in Taxation from the University of North Texas as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Baylor University.

Jamey Bolton

Client Services

Jamey has over 18 years of business administration, sales and service experience.

Connie Assadi

Senior Staff Accountant

Connie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She has over 30 years of experience in accounting and business, serving a wide range of clients - more than half of which are currently medical offices.

Donna Roblin


Donna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and her 31 years of work experience include managerial accounting, cost accounting, auditing, consolidations, budgeting, financial reporting and analysis.

Valorie Perry

Office Manager

Valorie has over 25 years of Business Administration experience. As our Office Manager, her main goal is to provide high standards for customer service.

Mary Ann Scales


Mary Ann joined Manning & Associates in October of 2013 after having moved to the area from western Kentucky. She brings 27 years of bookkeeping, accounting, and income tax experience to the job, having worked in manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and accounting firm settings.
